Maria Magdalena 2
This Maria Magdalena I made and gave it as a present to my dear friend Elia, who I met in 2016.
She invited me to come to Cyprus and she took care me so well. At Christmas 2017 I brought her this icon and knew she would love it.
I was right! It was a joy to make it for her for many reasons.
I'm so grateful and happy to have this very beautiful Maria with me in my home. She's so strong. I love her colours and her size. She looks sad, but steady and strong in the way she sits and shines. Jeannette is a real talent and has a good taste. I feel honoured that she made it to me. Such a valuable present from a great friend.
